• Highways engineering or transport planning

• Ecology or environmental assessment

• Legal aspects of planning or public consultation

Professionals who can donate a bit of time can make a significant difference.

For those interested in detail or policy, we need help with:

• Reviewing planning applications and summarising key points

• Researching national housing policy changes and what they mean for Wetherby

• Helping us analyse environmental or infrastructure documents

• Providing specialist insight (planning, transport, environment, heritage, traffic modelling)

Even a few hours reviewing documents is enormously valuable.

As the group grows, we will soon need:

• A volunteer Treasurer

• Help applying for small grants

• Support with fundraising when we need expert consultants (e.g., highways or planning specialists)

• Help at public meetings and community events (e.g., room setup, welcoming residents, handing out information)

• Deliver leaflets around Wetherby when major developments or public meetings arise

• Speak with residents to collect views or share updates

• Taking photos at events, meetings or around the community
