Better Wetherby is an independent community organisation and is not a registered charity. Donations are used to support the activities and objectives of Better Wetherby, including campaigning, professional advice and costs associated with planning matters.

Currently we are seeking funding to sponsor an independent Highways Impact Study in Wetherby. It is anticipated that this will be used as evidence to objectively comment on the impact of future developments in the surrounding area and to provide a ‘blueprint’ for the longer term development of our historic town. We have approached both Wetherby Town Council and Leeds City Council on this matter, and anticipate that some funding may be available from Wetherby. Leeds planners have indicated that they would welcome this study and would like to assist the study authors with historic information and insight.
